01 Nest

Nest, can also be a focused plane or space in the wider world. For the outside world, it is a relatively narrow space, which gives people a sense of security and allows people to gather divergent views.

When we look out from our nest, we typically view our surroundings through a window, the frame of which determines or influences our line of sight.

The ‘focus tool’ I made was designed to mimic this situation, how do we focus when our view of the world is limited? What happens when we look from the inside to the outside?

In addition, it has been proved that when our vision is affected by physical colors, the perceived temperature of the external world also changes, and the same physical environment will produce different ‘reflections’ to our eyes. When the focus holes (foci) of the two eyes overlap, so does our vision. Then, if people focus their eyes on two different scenes through external measures in the same space, each giving people different feelings and stimuli, it is still the same site?

This requires us to think about the contradictory relationship between vision and space.
